Friendship House not only prepares home-cooked food for your event; we also provide other catering services that can help your event flow even smoother. Rather than assigning tasks to complete at your event to family and friends, let the Friendship House do the work while you, your family, friends, and guests enjoy themselves to the fullest.

With our professional catering services, there will be no need to lift a finger unless you are eating and mingling with your guests! We handle all aspects of catering, including food, beverages, wait staff, tableware clean-up, and more. Listed below are not only our catering styles, but the services we offer that you may pick and choose from to even further customize your catering plan.

In the process of planning your special day, the last thing you want to do is ask friends and family members to cut the cake. For just $.50 per guest, this service can be added to your package. Reasons to have us cut the cake:

• Friends and family won’t miss out on enjoying your event
• Consistency of the size of cake pieces
• We clean up the mess from cutting the cake

We are fully licensed to purchase and serve liquor at your event, and each bartender is 21 years of age or older.

• A $150 liquor licensing fee is added to every event we serve liquor at, whether it is liquor provided by you or by Friendship House.
• Bartending fees are $30 per hour per bartender.
• There is a three (3) hour minimum, with an extra hour added for set up and clean up.
• The number of bartenders is dependent on the following:
  • Number of guests
  • Type of alcohol being served
• Bartending packages offered are as follows:
  • Inclusive bar: $30 per hour per bartender. You or Friendship House may provide the liquor; you take leftover liquor at the end of the event.
  • Cash bar: $100 per hour (regardless of number of bartenders). Friendship House provides the liquor; Friendship House takes leftover liquor at the end of the event.
• Bartending services are subcontracted through Team Red unless there is a scheduling conflict. We will then provide an in-house bartender for your event.
• Amenities can be provided at additional charges and include the following:
  • Drink cups
    • 9 oz. - wine
    • 16 oz. - mixed drinks (may be 12 oz if there are inventory issues)
    • Champagne glasses are $.75 each
  • Cocktail napkins
  • Stir sticks

We offer meat carving, which allows guests to see that the food is fresh, hot, and juicy. The carving station is generally at the end of the table, and the meat will be cut while under a heat lamp. Price for this option is $2.00 per person.

Reasons to have a carving station at your event:

• Adds an extra degree of class
• Provides guests with the type of meat they want
• Keeps meat fresher, moister, and even more appetizing

Lit candles are nice elements that add just the right amount of lighting, ambiance, and intimacy for special events. We offer candle lighting, in which we will do the obvious and light all of your candles for your event. This convenient service can be added to your package for an additional $20.

We offer several different options to choose from when it comes to tableware. Whether it is a backyard BBQ or an elegant wedding dinner, you have the choice of which tableware setup fits your event needs perfectly. Photos of the different types of tableware may be provided upon request.

• Basic Plasticware - $1.50 (clear plate and basic cutlery)
• Upgraded Plasticware - $2.00 (white plate with silver trim and basic cutlery or vice versa)
• Premium Plasticware - $2.50 (white plate with silver trim and silver cutlery)
• Chinaware - $4.50 (plates are porcelain, dinner plates are 10.5”, salad/dessert plates are 7”, water/tea goblets are glass)

We offer tablecloths and cloth napkins in a variety of colors for your event as well. Please place your linen order at least two weeks prior to your event. Call the store to see if your special color requests (not on this list) can be met.

• Cloth Napkins - $.55 (per person), Colors available are:
  • Purple, Red, Burgundy, Chambray Bistro, Black Bistro
